Accelerate into Anaesthesia

AiA is aimed at those in their first year of anaesthetics or ITU to provide insight into Basic Science behind our clinical work. 

• Peer-to-Peer teaching
• 24 Topics covered over the AiA period – you will take a small share of these topics and prepare a short presentation for each. Teach a little, learn a lot.
• Advance your knowledge in core areas of basic science to support your clinical work
• Head-start in preparation for FRCA topics (although this is not the goal of AiA)

 We will cover cardiac, respiratory and neuro physiology, pharmacology of commonly used drugs and physics.
