Post Fellowship Group Teaching - ICM

Post-fellowship anaesthetic teaching delivers an exciting programme of teaching on a broad range of anaesthetic topics for Intermediate / higher or stage 2 / 3 anaesthetic trainees, SAS and trust doctors.

This trainee/SAS/trust doctor organised anaesthetic teaching is provided every 2 months with a combined anaesthetic / ICM teaching day once a year (November) in line with the RCOA anaesthetics curriculum and GMC teaching provision recommendations.

Teaching days are a mixture of lecture based and interactive learning, with local and national expert presenters / educators with experience in, and knowledge of, specialised areas of anaesthesia.

Topics range from all areas within clinical anaesthesia to management and leadership in anaesthesia and preparations for consultant applications/interviews/jobs.

Teaching for northern deanery anaesthetic trainee/doctors only.
